这是澳大利亚首次举办比利时超现实主义画家勒内·马格里特（rene magritte）回顾展，共汇集超过100件作品，回顾艺术家近40年的创作生涯，展现他对当代视觉文化的深远影响，其中大部分作品都未曾在澳大利亚展出过。
勒内·马格里特的作品以荒诞、冷漠的现实主义风格为主，反映出极具独立性的艺术视野和带有叛逆色彩的幽默感，云朵、帽子、烟斗和苹果是他作品中最具代表性的元素。
展览将带领观众回顾马格里特的早期商业作品，深入了解他对先锋性艺术的探索和对超现实主义的开创性贡献。
